Designed for use with Alpha NEX cameras and camcorders, this versatile lens covers a wide range of shots and drastically reduces blur with advanced Optical SteadyShot™ image stabilization technology. The extra-low dispersion glass is offered in the lens layout to help reduce chromatic aberrations and colour fringing for improved clarity and colour neutrality. This lens features a rounded seven-blade diaphragm that contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality when employing selective focus techniques. To reduce astigmatism, coma, field curvature, and other monochromatic aberrations, the Aspherical elements are incorporated in the lens design.
